Era Racer Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 28, 2026

Era Racer is made by ScanlineDunes. We built the game to respect your privacy. This policy explains what happens to information when you play.

The short version

We do not collect, store or share your personal information. Era Racer has no accounts, no ads, no tracking and no third-party analytics.

What stays on your device

Your settings, high scores, the initials you enter on the high score table, unlocked music and your best ghost run are saved on your device so the game remembers them. We cannot see this data. RESET PROGRESS in Options erases your progress, and deleting the app deletes everything.

iCloud save

If iCloud Save is on in Options, a copy of your game progress is kept in your own iCloud account so it can sync between your devices. Apple handles this storage under Apple's privacy policy, and we cannot access it. You can turn iCloud Save off at any time.

Tips and purchases

Tips in the Tip Jar are optional and are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your name, card or payment details. Tips do not unlock anything.

Photos

Photo Mode only saves or shares a picture when you tap SNAP and choose what to do with it. If you choose to save it, iOS asks your permission to add it to your photo library. The game cannot view your photos.

Analytics and crash reports

Era Racer contains no analytics or crash reporting tools of its own. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us general, anonymous statistics about app usage and crashes. These never identify you.

No ads, no tracking, no selling

Era Racer shows no ads, does not track you across other apps or websites, and never sells or shares any data.

Children

Era Racer is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
